Hitachi airPoint Remote Lineup

Hitachi airPoint is a global advanced remote control family for residential air conditioners, that provides a simple and universal user interface. Remote architecture is reimagined after conducting multi-region usability & qualitative ergonomics research, a bigger display with temperature segments, simple icons, and function-specific colored Tile keypad to improve navigation, and make it accessible to a wider variety of users, particularly senior individuals. We created a Japanese katana-inspired design with a modular design concept that reduced carbon footprints to promote sustainability.
