The designed sauna equipment system is designed to enable wheelchair users to use it independently and safely, without excluding able-bodied people. This is a group of people at risk of exclusion, which is why my project focuses mainly on them. The proposed solution consists of several elements: seat, door, handle, headrest. They have been developed in response to predefined user needs. The advantage of the project is the modularity of the solution, which allows it to be adapted to various spaces. The assumption was also the simplicity of execution and non-stigmatizing appearance.

Bio I am a student of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. I am mainly interested in universal design, socially useful design and public space design. In my projects, I would like to focus on accessibility for people with disabilities, at risk of exclusion. Independent and independent functioning is very important for people with disabilities and I believe that they do not have to focus only on the activities of the first need.

Other prizes In 2022, I won an award in the Arting competition - an industrial design competition aimed at sustainable design. I won the main prize in the Bielsko-Biała category for the project "Book Sphere". My design of a sauna for people using a wheelchair also qualified for the "Good Innovations" program organized by Zamek Cieszyn in Poland. The program aims to support innovative projects that improve the quality of life of people with disabilities.
