Nom Nom

Nom Nom is a response to the typical coat rack. After a week of uninspiring sketching, the “Ah ha!” presented itself the moment I stopped looking for it. To empty my head of the ideation clutter, I decided to get a bite at a local sushi bar. At one of the tables was a little boy who was completely entertained, but not by the typical iPad, just a wooden cup and some bamboo chopsticks. He was the spark, his imagination bringing life to the mundane. A child's mind reveals a universal truth, an empty vessel, that in its emptiness becomes useful. How perfectly playful! How quintessentially zen!
