Blossom is a transformative ottoman that encourages interaction between the user and furniture. The ottoman can be shy and closed off like the user on some days and then start to blossom on brighter days revealing her bright colorful energy and dynamism. Blossom encourages a form of play between the user and furniture, to transform furniture reflecting the user's own moods varying from shy and closed to confident, open and blooming. Incorporating this sort of transformation in furniture is an attempt to bring our inanimate everyday objects in our home to life.
