Twisty is a spinning lamp that supports kids’ learning processes by facilitating experimentation and giving them a sense of control over their environment. By spinning the lampshade, the brilliance of the light brightens or dims. Experimentation and autonomy are essential in early childhood education as children develop their cognitive skills. Both build confidence and boost self-esteem. A world full of screens and hard to operate everyday objects like lamps limits their learning process. Twisty encourages learning through tactile experimentation and away from simulated screens.
