When you stand in front of the vehicle, for example, you will not see an augmented object sitting off the rear bumper. A car does quite a bit that you cannot see with the naked eye. What does that have to do with cars? SLAM GO suggests the HoloCAR could be a useful design tool, allowing designers to see what they're working on in three dimensions without having to build a physical model. That also makes it easier to show ideas to colleagues and bosses, who simply have to put on a headset to do a walk-around of the virtual model.
