VITA

Vita is a fire safety door handle that saves lives by blocking smoke using easily accessible wet cloth, creating a safe space for the user & providing feedback to the firefighters about your location in dense smoke. It includes two sets of handles- indoor & outdoor, that work on the electricity generated through salt ions in tap water by using galvanic cells. A cloth strip, submerged in water is stored in the inner handle & can be pulled out from the handle to seal the gap in the door. Upon pulling the cloth out, the outer unit triggers a buzzer & beeping light helping firemen save the victims
