EOS - per una nuova alba

The project consists of three aids for visually impaired people, able to ensure a private dialogue between the user and the object, and purchasable at a reasonable price. The first one is an analogical aid, specifically a magnifying-glass, whose form reminds that of a pocket watch. The second one is digital and consists of a ring containing a webcam and a flashlight, which ensures reading autonomy through an OCR software. Finally, the third device is a hybrid, made of a spectacle lens with audio that, using bone conduction, allows to listen to the data read by the previous mentioned OCR aid.
