‘Surplace’ is an ode to the lamp on the bikes that is well known and hated by the 40+ generation. The dynamo made your legs feel like exploding while standing still anyway.

The lamp is tensed between floor and ceiling by a spindle on each side. The object is made of wood and wood-related products. The vertical support is made of Ayous and the lamp is made of mdf circles that are glued on each other and can be delivered in a variety if colors.

Bio
Dasein Products is a very young design brand, founded in 2018 in Belgium and already winner of several awards from around the globe. They like to rethink interior objects by means of material use and out of the box construction. But always with functionality in mind.
