Hanoi Ceramic Mural

Each year Noi Bai International airport welcomes more than 18 million visitors. Lead designer Nguyen Thu Thuy accepted the challenge to create a ceramic mosaic mural inside Terminal 2 that spans the history of this 1000 year old city, giving international travelers their first impression of Hanoi. The mural portrays “Hanoi Past and Present” featuring well-known architectural landmarks plus the natural beauty of the city. Created with over 250,000 mosaic tiles this expansive mural measures 26m wide and 3.4m high.
