Sonnenglas Light Carafe

The Sonnenglas Light Carafe combines functionality and sustainability as a drinking vessel and table lamp. Made from 100% recycled glass, collected by people in Africa, it’s produced through a Fair Trade project that trains local artisans in glassblowing. The included SOMO Solar Light, also made in Africa, has created over 50 permanent jobs for previously unskilled workers. Solar-powered and carbon neutral, the Light Carafe exemplifies the ethos: “Social Impact by Design. Made in Africa.”
