Gallotti & Radice Sensei by Tollgard & Castellani

Designed by Staffan Tollgård and Filippo Castellani for Galotti & Radice, the SENSEI console bridges Italian, Scandinavian and Japanese design cultures: drawing a red thread between rigour, versatility and functionalism. An honorific term – Sensei literally translates to ‘one who comes before’ - a respectful form of address that acknowledges the mastery of an art form, skill or discipline. Refined and balanced: wide and narrow bridges in metal, wood, marble and glass are rigorously conceived to provide flexible functionality. A functional sculpture, designed to suit different scenarios.
