Lean-on

Lean-on chair is an initiative to enable designers to "lean on" and rely on the furniture to complete a space seamlessly. The piece is willing to converse openly and engage with its habitat through the customizable digital gradient on its back. The chair comprises of two bent-ply forms that appear to lean on each other, attached by metal plates. The hardware reinforces the chair's strength and allows weight distribution for a comfortable and conscious sit. In a world of mass-produced exact duplicate plastic and metal chairs, Lean-on stands up for its identity while identifying with its space.
