GuideAlarm is an innovative alarm system designed to assist visually impaired individuals during emergencies. It combines sounds and tactile maps to guide people to the nearest exit. By following a sequence of sounds from high to low frequency, individuals can effectively navigate towards safety. The system features tactile maps with easily understandable symbols, eliminating the need for advanced braille skills. By integrating audible alarms and tactile maps, GuideAlarm provides a comprehensive solution that enables visually impaired people to locate exits and evacuate during emergencies.
