Supernova

The purpose of this project is to explore the interrelations between the universe and humanity through the supernova phenomenon.By fusing different matter produced by the supernova explosion, She hope to create her imaginary universe. (e.g. glass, brass, silver, etc.). Meng combines sharped metal in combination with soft flowisng glass to create a sense of material contrast. A shimmering golden colour is born in the moment when silver meets glass.Creating a possibility to break the boundary between humanity and the universe. To this end Meng aims to evoke "the immortality of consciousness".
