Due to the epidemic, various industries in Hong Kong have been affected. Because the saving habits of Hong Kong people are much lower than those of neighboring countries: Singapore (rank 2) > South Korea (rank 8) > Thailand (rank 14) > India (rank 17) > Hong Kong (rank 48). Therefore, the Hong Kong people have low financial capacity for various disasters. How to teach children to develop the habit of saving is the unique point of this project. Since STEAM education is very popular in Hong Kong, we want to cultivate the habit of saving by students designing their own piggy bank.
