CCRR (Climate Change Resilient Roof)

CCRR is an integrated roofing system for buildings, to reduce (and take advantage of) the consequences of extreme atmospheric phenomena caused by climate change: heavy thunderstorms and hail, drought, etc. It consists of an insulated and waterproofed compartment for the rainwater collection, in which is contained a battery of photovoltaic panels, connected to each other, which rotate at the same time by 180° on their axis. This allows some benefits: best solar capture (+ 15%); full protection of the panel’s glass from hail, sandy rain or falling objects; and better collection of rainwater.
