The notifications you receive bring not only the chance of distraction productivity loss but also the fear of missing out on important alerts. Introducing Noa: a two-part solution that can intelligently decide if notification is worth interacting with based on what the user is doing and what is important to them. The first part is in your phone’s OS, using your use habits to sort and filter notifications by importance. The other: an e-ink display that attaches to your phone. When removed, put your phone away without fearing missing out as it will only push the most vital notifications.
