Flippy is a hybrid drone that strives to improve
the experience of flying a recreational drone.
With both flight and driving capabilities,
internal motors power its transformation from a
drone to a rc car to broaden its exploration
capabilities and lengthen its play time. The
design follows standard rules for plastic part
breakup, with the main body being injection
molded ABS that cases a 16 megapixel camera.
The propeller protectors are cased with
neoprene tracks that are resistant to weather
corrosion and impact.
