Andrew's interest in mobiles was born from his career as a circus performer. With 20 years of experience working for the largest circus companies in the world, his experience in the air gave him an appreciation for the delicate merging of strength, grace, and finely tuned balance. Andrew's work combines the contradicting forces of nature and industry by using wood and steel materials and balancing the positive and negative charges of magnets, creating a contemporary yet timeless aesthetic. Finely sculpted hardwoods are precisely balanced to the fraction of a millimeter with magnetic spheres.
