The challenge of in-home Wi-Fi networks is interference that can be caused by other wireless devices. Nokia Wi-Fi consists of a premium residential gateway and mesh beacon that will provide a flexible solution to meet every type of deployment need. The gateway can identify as much as seventeen different interference sources. With the knowledge and statistics provided by interference detection capabilities, the wireless gateway can choose the best channel of operation or band. The innovative fiber optic cable management solution and thermal design are key elements of the design.
