Sarah Giblin runs a one-person startup to make city travel more secure. She realised on her daily commute that backpacks are the wrong way round: the person behind you can get into your bag more easily than you can. She found this so odd, she left her job, prototyped a "backwards" backpack and funded it successfully on Kickstarter. Within a year of leaving her job, travellers all over the world were using her new secure backpack design. She takes her users' feedback through surveys and redesigns the RiutBag every production with new ideas. There are now over 20,000 RiutBags used globally.
