Most ideas start as a humble sketch,
started with a humble pencil - a tool that
we have been using since 1564. A pencil is
such a powerful tool, it has allowed us to
visualize our thoughts, create anything we
think of. Yet since its introduction we
have accepted the pencil for its
drawbacks, always requiring a sharpener,
gradually getting too small to use and the
fragility of the tip. The pencil+ is the
update the pencil has been waiting for, a
sleek compact, all-in-one solution. The
pencil+ allows you the mobility of
carrying a pencil simply in your pocket -
with the sharp end secured inside. Keeping
your point sharp ready to draw, while
extending your pencil to its regular size
and always having a sharpener on hand.
Designed to last, be robust, enduring and
environmental. Implanting a simple idea,
to not waste. The pencil+ also has
replaceable parts, allowing indefinite
usage of your pencil+ and your pencils.
Have you ever finished a pencil before? I
believe that the pencil+ is worthy of an
award because it is the first all-in-one
solution to the drawbacks of anyone who
loves drawing with a pencil, while
designed with the environment in mind
using recyclable materials while reducing
unnecessary waste of something usable. I
want the pencil+ to make world fall back
in love with the pencil, creativity,
exploration and drawing again.
