The cocoda chair features intricate three-dimensional curved arms carved out of solid wood. This shape cannot be made by bending wood. We believed that a simple chair with only the necessary functions would be the most comfortable and the most beautiful. Its organic and beautiful form attracts people who use it. Each piece is hand-carved from solid wood using Japanese hand tools.
To achieve perfect seating comfort, they are made by carving out a solid block of wood with a knife. The Japanese hand tools, the plane and the knife, are essential for this process.
