A reading lamp made of 900 gr of pure uncoated Aluminum,born from the assembly of two ordinary hinges and a pipe,no glue or screw needed.
It is a real sustainable product, because can be easily assemble,disassembled and recycled by the consumer. An open hinge,locked with a rod form the base, adding the function of reading glasses fabric holder.The secondary hinge perfectly perform as an adaptable lampshade around the led chip, also mounted on aluminum stick.The pipe arm is assembled in 2 parts with a loop in the corner which provides an ideal placement for the reading glasses.
Bio Considers himself as a purist, “shapes simple but with strong character”, the Architect Francesco Cappuccio was born in 1967 in Caserta, Italy . He studied architecture at the University of Naples (1994) and graduated with a Master degree in Industrial Design (1997).
Francesco took part in numerous contest of design all around the world, getting awards and publications on specialized magazines. Among those received are:
