100 % handmade Pashmina-scarfs, hand-spun on
traditonal spinnig wheel of best pure
cashmere-pashmina wool combed out from
Kashmiri mountain goats. Hand-woven
on old heritage wooden loom in a new unique
design of oriental carpet-pattern in a
special kashmiri traditional weaving
technique. Pattern is not embroidered like
standard pashmina design. The pattern is
woven into the fabric by threats on single
wooden sticks made by weaving artist (see
picture). Precise work on both sides of the
scraf. The new designs were created by Aijaz
Ahmad Rather and the project is realised by
familiy members for spinning and weaving.
