Coffee is one of the most important consumer
goods in daily life. Disposable coffee cups
are causing tremendous pressure on the
environment. At the same time, the residual
coffee in cups will nourish the flies,
mosquitoes and other disease vector.
According to WHO, every year, more than one
million people die from vector-borne diseases
such as malaria and dengue carried by
mosquitoes, flies and other vectors. The
flies trap lid gives a second life to
disposable coffee cups. When people finish
drinking, they just need to press the trap
bottom before throwing it away. The flies
will be easily attracted by the residual
coffee smell. Because of the trap hole's
conical structure, once the fly gets in,
it’s hard to get out. As the crowd moves,
the trap lid can be randomly and quickly
distributed in every corner of the city.
Everyone can join to prevent from the spread
vector-borne diseases.
