The VELLO Bike+ is a breakthrough in folding electric bikes as
it provides unlimited mobility in cities thanks to its self-
charging capabilities and compact folding.
The energy with this new e-system is harvested by converting
mechanical energy into electrical energy thanks to the
Integrated Kinetic Energy Recovery System (K.E.R.S). In that
way, additional energy is released when braking and pedaling
downhill to completely recharge the light integrated lithium-ion
battery while riding.
As an added feature, VELLO includes a free app where users
can set the level of pedal assistance and ride up to 25 km/hour
(15 miles per hour), track their route and even lock their bike
remotely, amongst other.
With an ultra portable design, the VELLO is also the lightest e-
bike on the market (clocking in at less than 12kg/ 26lbs), and
capable of folding down to suitcase size for easy transport and
carry.

VELLO BIKE is a pioneering lifestyle brand specializing in the
design of innovative mobility products. With more than a
decade of experience in designing and overseeing production
processes for bicycles, baby carriages and electric mopeds as
services to third parties, the co-founder and award-winning
product designer Valentin Vodev took the next big leap by
starting his own company together with Valerie Wolff. The
products are manufactured in Vienna, Austria.
The company ran three very successful crowdfunding
campaigns (on Kickstarter and Indiegogo) to bring their own
designs on the market. More here: http://vello.bike and
