Many traffic accidents are connected with the
visual blind
spot, the invisible danger threatens our
lives. This smart
steering wheel using the ultrasonic principle
calculate the
distance between objects and the body. If
this distance is
less than the safety distance, the
needle-type button on the
steering wheel will pop up to form a tactile
sensing surface
which can widen the driver "visual" range.
When the pedestrian is in the visual blind
spot, it will be
difficult to detect them for the driver.
When the needle point pops up, due to the
sense of
touching, the driver can notice the road
condition.
