Cara is a new birth control pill dispenser, pill packaging, and phone app. Our research showed that women struggle to remember to take their birth control pills on time and also want to take the pill discretely while in public. This system was designed to help overcome these issues. When one pill is dispensed from the device, the device automatically updates to the correct day of the week and also sends a notification to the phone app that the pill has been taken.
